The 20th anniversary Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is hitting the road with a top-notch selection of films that are sure to get you fired up for the season ahead. What is F3T? It’s a traveling roadshow of the best fly fishing short films in the world. Through a submission process, films are selected to bring some of the best content to the big screen in your hometown.
The variety of films often range the gamut. Whether it’s tarpon off Costa Rica, giant taiman from Mongolia, redfish in the Louisiana marshes, the beauty and threats to the Everglades or the story of an Alaskan wilderness family enjoying the off-the-grid life, these collections of short films inspire and excite the viewer.
The F3T is more than just the films – the shows aim to create community, inspire, encourage and support conservation efforts worldwide. Each evening is complete with a live emcee, door prizes from our premium sponsors, and more. Come for the action, stay for the camaraderie, all while helping to raise money for the waters we love.
And speaking of door prizes… every paid attendee will have a chance to win one of over two dozen door prizes various sponsors of the F3T.
In addition, the Gulf Coast Council of Fly Fishers International has annually “sweetened the pot” for this showing only, by adding a special grand prize to the list of great prizes offered by F3T.
The Gulf Shores F3T will take place after the conclusion of the Gulf Coast Classic on Saturday evening. Registration for the Classic is not required to attend the Fly Fishing Film Tour.
